The Budgeting options on the Project tab can be used to estimate or budget Time that should be spent on the project, as well as, the fee of what you are planning to charge the client for the work being done. The budgeting options, however, are not required to be used. Tracking time against a project will result in the hours spent populated in the “Actual hrs” field automatically.
