When first implementing OfficeTools WorkSpace as a Time & Billing software, there will be a transition period of bring over previous A/R balances from the prior system that was used. One key thought when creating these Balance Forward Invoices in WorkSpace is how you desire aging to look on new invoices. A majority of users break their beginning balances for their clients into 30, 60, and 90 day intervals when applicable.

This requires, in some cases, three different Balance Forward Invoices to be entered for one client. Be sure to date the invoice with an appropriate date that lines up with the aging date desired.

To get it perfectly accurate it will be necessary to key in each individual invoice so that the date can be 100% accurate.
