When getting ready to make the link between Practice Management Workspace and Outlook, there are a few things that need to be taken into consideration. PM Workspace recommends that you don’t bring your existing outlook data base in from Outlook directly through the integration. If you have client information exclusively in Outlook it is best practice to export it into an excel spreadsheet and import in via the Excel Import Tool. This is especially true if PM Workspace already has contact information imported into it. Ideally we would like to see you export the clean PM Workspace database into a BRAND NEW contact list in Outlook. This new contact folder would be a perfect blend of all of the groomed data from any programs you may have combined into one.
