While the latest version of PM Workspace and the new On-line User Guides reflect our commitment to providing greater resources to our users, we are especially pleased to announce the release of the new and improved Client Portal. We’ve polished web interface to simplify the end-user experience and added some long anticipated features—as well as some totally new functionality. These improvements include three new integrated web services: ScheduleAvailabilityandBooking,ClientIntake/CheckinSystem, and On-lineTimeEntry for Staff.

With the new ScheduleAvailabilityandBooking section, your clients can check firm wide availability and request an appointment for a specific staff member on your team.  Appointments can be confirmed directly from the Practice Management Schedule Tab and confirmed with the client via email.

The ClientIntake/Check-InSystem will allow clients to change basic contact information right from the portal. They can update their information from a tablet, smartphone or a kiosk when they are checking in at your reception area.  No more clip boards or rekeying information. This feature will be great for offices with a high volume of tax appointments.  Any information changed by the client on the portal will automatically update that client’s file in PM Workspace.

On-LineTimeSheets will be great for road warrior staff members who are always on the go. Now through the Client Portal they’ll have remote access to key in their time for payroll or billing, but they’re not the only ones who will love it. Adding a mobile option for time entry will benefit your entire firm, increasing the versatility and robustness of your existing time keeping system with a solution team members are already familiar with.

These new features, along with all its the existing features, make the integrated Client Portal a must-have when using Practice Management Workspace.

With the release of the new Client Portal being showcased at this year User Conference, we will be discontinuing both Client Portal Lite and DropFolder.net.  All users will now get the Client Portal, with all of its updated and existing features (which was previously sold at $720/year) for $580/year.  Those who have currently licensed the Full Client Portal will also receive this new reduced price at renewal time.
