Q: I added a new work code and checked the billable option, but the time card(s) do not show up as billable. Why not?

A: Billing rates may not have been assigned by staff. Please refer to the “How to Associate Rates to Work Codes” user guide for more information. If any time cards have already been created using the new work code prior to assigning a rate per staff, they will need to be updated in order for them to be billable. You can easily do this by clicking on the Update Time Cards button in the Setup > Billing > Billing Rates menu, set filters as required, and click Update. Any time cards that fall within the range of the filters will be updated with the values in the staff members’ tables.
