Q: Do I need to have Outlook open for the Outlook sync to work?

A: The Outlook program does not have to be open in order for the Sync to run. There are variations in results depending on your Outlook version and Outlook Integration versions however the end result is the same.

OfficeTools WorkSpace does not have to be open either, as the sync communicates directly with the database.
