These changes often require additional expertise to address new laws or regulations, improved communications when engaging clients, or operational flexibility when dealing with employees. On its own, any individual change can significantly impact the success of an accounting firm. If a firm is prepared this change can act like a tailwind to an already successful business; however, for firms that are not prepared, changes can easily derail operations, impact client engagement and overburden employees.
